Jesus is the way the truth and the light

Today I deleted twelve posts, whether they were important or not, one thing never changes; Jesus loves me, he loves you, and all things do not seem to matter anymore. Everything else seems to pale in comparison to living a life fully committed and trusting in God. He never forsook me, even during a time of sorrow, being a place that did not seem to fit, and being lost in my own world. Never again- the shutting out of people, distancing myself from anything and everything, that kind of life is not worth it. If I just focus on serving God everything else will fall into place. I haven't been able to really think for myself for the past couple weeks. You could say.. It is my fault for it being so. Recently busy and preoccupied attempting writing a paper on Luke. 1737 words to be exact, when supposedly subtract 982 words, that'll do!
If only writing, came naturally, like ink to a page, struck with sudden inspiration, and turned into a wondrous piece of art. You could say a many things, but still say the equivalent of nothing. If words are empty what meaning do they hold? Can words reach down and touch the soul? If only people would look in the eyes, all the facades would fade away, and compassion instead of pity would flow through them. I'd rather see the people I love smile and laugh. That is the most beautiful sound. What do you see as important in your life? Be it family, friends, God, material things, the next step, or does nothing seem important? Everyday is a gift from God. I cannot be still, be quiet, or turn a deaf ear to the people around me. What you need is something that you fail to see. Where did becoming your own number one become the most important? I  am only speaking hypothetically to make you think. What is missing? The answer may be staring you in your face. No, not your computer screen! What is life without humor, be it flavorless, bland, or savory?
What if you lost someone you loved, would your world shatter or would you live on? I am a living testimony, to that, living on, being strong, and relying on God more than myself. For on my own I am just me, plain Jane, MJ. My talents are not my own, they're his, and more than anything my life is not my own but his. There are lies floating around that there are multiple ways to be saved, but on this the bible is clear.
  • Acts 2:38 (KJV) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
  • Acts 4:12 (KJV) Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
  • Matthew 28:19 (KJV) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
  •  Matthew 3:11 (KJV)I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and [with] fire:
  • John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Notice that it says in the name, meaning NOT plural: Jesus is the father, Jesus is the Son, and Jesus is the Holy Ghost. There is only one God.

  • Deuteronomy 6:4 (KJV) Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God [is] one LORD:
  • John 10:30 (KJV) I and [my] Father are one.
